With the 2012 Swans District April School Holiday Clinic looming, SDFC Women’s and State 18’s Player, Rhonda Williams has been hitting the schools along with district staff to promote one of the biggest days in the district calendar - The 2012 April School Holiday Clinic on Wednesday, April 18.
Rhonda, who is a student at Swan View Senior High School, is spending some quality time at primary schools across the district to share her skills and passion for football.
Rhonda’s promising football career has kicked into high gear with the budding star now beginning her second year in the SDFC Women’s Team, whilst pressing for State 18’s selection in May.
Rhonda’s talents also extend off the field, with the promising 16 year-old, now in the process of doing her Certificate II in Sports and Recreation, whilst holding down a traineeship at SDFC.
Rhonda might be partially deaf, but she hasn’t let her disability get in the way, adding some striking silverware to her trophy cabinet, including the 2011 Swans Premier League Rising Star Award. But, this is only the start of great things to come for this excitement machine from Swan View Senior High School.
The 2012 April School Holiday Clinic promises to be bigger than Ben Hur, with Rhonda and a host of fellow SDFC players delivering a series of skill drills to give boys and girls the tools they need to become the next star.
If you’re lucky you might see a game being umpired by SDFC stars Chelsea Randall, Dayle Garlett, Jarrhan Jacky or Rikki Ryder, but this is only a sample of the great things you will experience at the 2012 April School Holiday Clinic.
Boys and girls will learn how to kick a snap, take a specky, and much more, so grab some mates and come on down to Steel Blue Oval for a day you will never forget. The 2012 April School Holiday Clinic is on Wednesday, 18th April, so sign-up now by contacting Swans District Development Officer, Chelsea Randall on 9279 8700 or
