WAFL Round 5 teams and previewsFriday, April 14, 2017 - 10:25 AM

IT is Easter Round in the WAFL with three games on Good Friday to kick off proceedings before the winless East Fremantle host the undefeated Swan Districts on Saturday.

It is Round 5 of the 2017 McDonald's WAFL Premiership season and it begins with three games on Good Friday starting at 2.15pm at Bendigo Bank Stadium with Peel Thunder hosting West Perth in a replay of last year's first semi-final.

There are then two twilight Good Friday fixtures with a top-of-the-table clash between South Fremantle and Claremont at Fremantle Community Bank Oval beginning at 4.15pm.

At the same time it will be the battle of the Leederville Oval co-tenants as Subiaco takes on East Perth.

The round will conclude with the one game on Saturday as East Fremantle plays Swan Districts at East Fremantle Oval. Not only are Swans looking to remain unbeaten but will also be celebrating the 250th game of club legend, premiership player and life member Tallan Ames.

Perth has the bye coming off its first win of the season last Saturday over East Fremantle.
