The following reports were assessed by the WAFL Match Review Panel following Round 16 League matches.

 

Steven Verrier, South Fremantle, was reported for striking Blair Bell, Peel Thunder, during the second quarter of the League match between Peel Thunder and South Fremantle on Saturday 21st July at Bendigo Bank Stadium.
In summary, the above mentioned can accept a one (1) match sanction with an early guilty plea.
Based on the available video evidence and a victim impact report from the Peel Thunder Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact. Under the table of penalties the offence was classified as a two (2) match sanction.
