Smarter than Smoking Cup Finals Begin!

After two months of hard fought competition throughout the state, which saw 3,000 students from over 150 schools participate, eighteen schools have won the right to represent their WAFL club in the 2008 Smarter than Smoking Cup finals.

The STS Cup is played in metropolitan WAFL zones and country regions, each producing a champion school representing their WAFL club, who then progress to quarter finals, semi finals and ultimately the grand final which will be played as the curtain raiser to the West Coast Eagles v Hawthorn match on Sunday 24 August.

The Smarter than Smoking Cup competition targets students is years 8 and 9 and is coordinated by the Smarter than Smoking Development Officers.
