A group of 18 players from WA departed for Canberra on Monday afternoon to commence testing at the NAB AFL National Draft Combine at the Australian Institute of Sport.
The group includes 13 players from WA’s Brownes Chill AFL State Talent Academy along with WAFC High Performance Manager Craig Starcevich.
The group also includes four 17-year-old players, who will be tested in Canberra at the request of Greater Western Sydney, which will consider pre-selections as the club prepares for its entry into the AFL in 2012.
