WA Country Football League General Manager Cameron Knapton has been appointed as Acting WAFL Operations Manager until the end of the 2012 season.
Mr Knapton will commence in the role on Monday, May 28, with Clint Roberts’ final duty to be the WAFL v SANFL State Game on Saturday, May 26.
Mr Knapton, who has previous WAFL experience as a Football Manager and General Manager at Claremont and West Perth, said he was looking forward to working closely with the WAFL clubs for the remainder of the season.
The West Australian Football Commission is working with the WA Country Football League to provide additional support during Mr Knapton’s absence.
