Top spot the aim but plenty for Falcons still to do

WEST Perth has done tremendously well to currently sit a game clear on top of the WAFL ladder heading into the last five rounds of 2011, and while coach Bill Monaghan hopes his team finishes with the minor premiership, he is under no illusions that there's plenty of work still to do.

It is difficult for Monaghan and everyone at West Perth to not look ahead to the finals given it's position on top of the ladder at present with a game advantage over Claremont, but the coach knows that the last four games won't be easy.

It starts this Saturday against South Fremantle at Arena Joondalup, continues against East Fremantle in Geraldton and finishes against East Perth and Swan Districts before the Round 24 bye. Monaghan knows there's still plenty to go under the bridge yet before finals can be focused on.
