Life Membership of the West Australian Football Commission (WAFC) is regarded as the highest level of recognition and is awarded to individuals who have made an outstanding overall contribution to football in WA.
This honour recognises those whose dedication, service, and impact have significantly shaped the game of Australian Football and its community across Western Australia.

Hall of Fame
The West Australian Football Hall of Fame was established to recognise and enshrine players, coaches, umpires, administrators and media representatives who have made a significant contribution to the game of Australian Football in Western Australia since its inception in 1885.
The Hall of Fame selection committee was established in 2003 for the purpose of selecting inductees into the Hall of Fame under the criteria and guidelines established by the Western Australian Football Commission.
Since the Western Australian Hall of Fame’s inauguration in 2004, 213 individuals have been inducted with 20 elevated to the status of Legend.
The biennial West Australian Football Hall of Fame Induction Dinner is a major event on the WA football calendar, and one that duly celebrates the proud football history of our state.
