To align with our WAAFL, WAFL and AFL counterparts, the 2014 WAWFL Presentation Night trialed a Monday night for our annual night of nights.
Monday 25th of August saw the WAWFL players and officials swap their boots and runners for formal wear at the League’s most prestige of nights held at Pan Pacific Hotel.

The annual Medal Presentation Dinner recognises the stars of the year, those who have shined in a specific field. It is a fantastic opportunity to recognise those who have dedicated their time, and lives, to help run the League, allow our game to continue to grow and allow 9 clubs take to the field on a weekly basis.

Our MC, Clint Wheeldon did a fabulous job for the evening, taking on banter from the crowd in regards to name pronounciations and club feedback.

The WAWFL would like to extend a thank you to our very important guests including WAFC CEO Gary Walton, Football Commissioner Rob Mackenzie, WAFC Game Development Manager Warren Nel and esteemed coach Michelle Cowan, just to name a few.

WA players continue to stamp their dominance on the game we love, and we believe our Medal Presentation Night is a great way to thank you.

Individuals recognised on the night have excelled in their category, the WAWFL would like to Congratulate all winners from this season:

Lynette Smith Volunteer of the Year: Nicole Graves (Swan Districts)
