State Talent and Draft
WA Football has selected a 32 player squad for this year’s Marsh AFL National Development Championships – U16 Boys.
East Fremantle and Perth each have six representatives, while Claremont, the Southwest and West Perth each have four players in the squad.
Seven train on players have also been given the chance to impress selectors.
WA Football State Talent Manager Adam Jones has declared 2025 an exciting opportunity for those selected.
“We’re really pleased with the group assembled and believe they will get the best chance to succeed in this program,” Jones said.
“I know every player is excited about coming together as a group, training together and representing our state.”
The State 16s will take part in an induction event at Subiaco Oval later today.
WA plays its first match of the Championships against South Australia at HIF Health Insurance Oval on Saturday, June 21.
