AFL Nines Bunbury

WA Football, in partnership with Country Football WA and the City of Bunbury, is bringing AFL Nines to the newly upgraded Hands Oval for a weekend of fun, fast, social footy.
There are two divisions you can choose from, plus, $2,000 prize money up for grabs for the winners of each division.

Frequently asked questions
No. AFL Nines is designed for all skill levels. It’s a social, fast, and flexible version of the game you love. There’s no tackling, no contact, and no prior experience needed.
Matching tops are required. Footy boots are recommended, with no metal studs, however runners or joggers are also acceptable.
Aside from an action-packed weekend, your rego also covers the essentials – umpires, ground hire, match balls, and insurance. We’ve got the boring stuff sorted so you can focus on the fun stuff.
Coming from out of town? Bunbury has plenty of great places to stay and things to do while you’re here.
Competition registration is $900.00 per team. (Approx $100 per person).
There are 9 on the field, and as many as you want can be listed.
The size of your team does not affect the team entry fee.
If there is poor/extreme weather, we will inform you prior to the night/ or decide on the night. Your safety is our priority.
If there are venue issues, we will also let you know prior to your game.
An attempt will be made to reschedule matches cancelled due to inclement weather or venue issues.
