Nutrien Ag Country Football Championships Showcase WA Talent
Success was spread around the regions at the 57th edition of the Nutrien Ag Country Football Championships.
The Avon Football Association, Goldfields Football League and the North Pilbara Football League were triumphant in the Nutrien Ag Men’s Division Finals at Fremantle Community Bank Oval, while the South West Football League won a thrilling CBH Group Colts Championship decider in Pinjarra.
The four-day Carnival attracted hundreds of footballers from around the state, with the event embraced by those who attended.
Brent Sheridan, West Australian Football Commission Manager Country Football Development – South, was delighted with the way the Championships played out.
“The Nutrien Ag Solutions Country Championships were a great success, and as always, the standard was excellent.
“Each Division was very competitive, which resulted in three of the four Grand Finals decided by less than three goals,” Sheridan said.
