Perth’s Metro Junior Football competitions capped off a fantastic season with their Grand Finals played across the weekend.

Thousands of players, support staff, umpires, volunteers and families braved the wild weather across 15 venues in the Perth metropolitan area for three unforgettable days.

There were more than 100 grand finals played – from Mandurah in the south to Whitfords and Ocean Ridge in the north and Bassendean and Kelmscott in the east.

WA Football’s Head of Metropolitan Junior Competitions Tim Marley thanked everyone involved for making the final weekend in Perth’s junior football season so successful.

Marley also praised major partner Revo Fitness for their vital support in keeping junior footy thriving as well as fellow competition partner Rookie Me.

As part of their partnership with WA Football, Revo supplied the 4500 footies used in junior football across Perth in season 2025, which saw almost 30,000 players registered and 672 games played every weekend.

“It was another successful Grand Final weekend with over 100 Grand Finals played across 15 venues in the Perth Metro area, capping off a fantastic 2025 Junior Football season,” Marley said.

“We thank those clubs who hosted Grand Finals over the weekend and despite the weather, the turnout and support for our young players was great to see.  A huge thank you goes to our umpires for their efforts, and congratulations to all the teams who took part.

“Most importantly, we want to recognise the club and team volunteers for their efforts. Week after week, they carry out roles that are often thankless, yet integral to the delivery of Junior Football. Quite simply, Junior Football does not happen without their commitment and dedication.”
