Round 8 of the WAFL Colts competition saw Claremont defeat Peel Thunder by 21 points, East Fremantle take home a 82-point victory over West Perth, Perth secure a one-point win over South Fremantle and Subiaco defeat Swan Districts by three points at Steel Blue Oval.

The RediMed Colts Young Gun for Round 7 was Luke English from Perth who collected 72 votes, closely followed by Peel Thunder player Jordan Boullineau.
