With a month now remaining of the 2024 home and away season in the WAFLW competition, things heated up in dramatic fashion with all four games on Saturday with East Fremantle moving to top spot, West Perth closing in on second, and now only one game separating the next three teams battling over fourth place.

All four matches took place on Saturday afternoon with West Perth beating Claremont for the first ever time in the WAFLW with a big finish to prevail 6.6 (42) to 6.4 (40) at Revo Fitness Stadium with three goals from Imahra Cameron.

Subiaco then made it consecutive wins to remain right in the finals hunt with the 10.10 (70) to 1.4 (10) victory against Sullivan Logistics Stadium co-tenants East Perth with Kate Pocsidio kicking three goals.

Fourth position then went on the line between Swan Districts and South Fremantle at Steel Blue Oval and it was the black-and-whites beating the Bulldogs 8.8 (56) to 7.3 (45) with four goals from Emily McGuire.
