AFL Coaching and Umpiring Accreditation for Educators

The West Australian Football Commission will be presenting AFL Level 1 Coaching and Umpiring Accreditation for teachers at the ACHPER WA Health & Physical Education Conference to be held at Edith Cowan University, Mt Lawley on November 24 and 25, 2014.

This conference is one of the largest professional learning opportunities for teachers of Health and Physical Education in Western Australia. The conference will be professionally stimulating, enjoyable and supportive of those who work in education and community settings.

The program provides a range of sessions that are of importance to Health, Physical Education and Sport Educators, classroom teachers, recreation, sport and health professionals, sport coaches and school counsellors.

Attendance at the ACHPER HPE Conference will fulfil parts of Standards 6 and 7 of the Australian Professional Teaching Standards for Teachers, which will be indicated on the certificate of attendance. Teachers will also receive a quality polo shirt if they register by 1 November.
