The West Australian Football Commission congratulates the Pinjarra Football & Netball Club who took out the Healthway Healthy Club Award at last night’s 2024 WA Sport Awards, presented by SportWest.
The award is recognition of the club’s “Dunking the Stigma” mental health initiative.
The WAFC would also like to acknowledge John Pinneri, Samantha Otway and Kellie Morley for being finalists in their respective categories at last night’s event.
Pinneri, the 2024 WA Football Volunteer of the Year, was a contender for the RSM Australia Community Sport Volunteer of the Year.
Otway, an Inclusion Programs Officer with WA All Abilities, was a finalist for the Hyundai Sport Initiative of the Year for her work on the Sensory Convergence Container program.
Morley, Country Football WA Operations Specialist – South at the WAFC, was nominated for the ActiveXchange Official of the Year for her contribution to the sport of lacrosse.
