WAFL Round 19 teams and previewsFriday, July 28, 2017 - 12:03 PM

ROUND 19 of the 2017 WAFL season sees four of the top five teams all do battle with one another while East Perth and Claremont fight to stay alive, and East Fremantle has the task of trying to topple Subiaco.

All four Round 19 matches take place on Saturday afternoon with the second placed South Fremantle taking on the fifth placed West Perth at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.

Third and fourth then lock horns when Swan Districts hosts Peel Thunder at Steel Blue Oval.

East Fremantle might have got off the bottom of the ladder last week despite having the bye but now have the sizeable task of taking on Subiaco at East Fremantle Oval and trying to end the Lions' winning run at 15.

The last game of the round takes place at Claremont Oval and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 from 3pm with Claremont taking on East Perth. The winner will remain in contention for fifth spot while the loser will find themselves all but out of running for a finals spot in 2017.

The bottom placed Perth has the bye but the Demons could get off the bottom again if Subiaco hands East Fremantle a handy loss.
