ROUND 3 of the 2018 WAFL season sees two games each on Saturday and Sunday afternoons highlighted by the battle of the last two remaining undefeated teams, Subiaco and Swan Districts.

The Saturday afternoon Round 3 WAFL action sees Subiaco host Swan Districts at Leederville Oval.

Both teams have opened the new season in impressive fashion with the Lions beating East Perth and South Fremantle, and Swans getting the better of Perth and Peel Thunder to set the stage for the early season top-of-the-table contest.

The other Saturday afternoon fixtures pits two teams desperate to build some early season momentum as they try to rise up the ladder in 2018 with Claremont hosting East Fremantle at Claremont Oval.

And then on Sunday, West Perth takes on South Fremantle with the earlier bounce down time of 12.45pm. Both teams are coming off disappointing 58-point losses respectively to East Perth and Subiaco last Saturday afternoon.

The round then concludes at 2.15pm on Sunday with the premiers of the last two seasons, Peel Thunder, hosting the 2017 wooden spooners Perth at Bendigo Bank Stadium.

East Perth has the Round 3 bye coming off its 58-point defeat over West Perth last Saturday at Leederville Oval on the back of a 118-point thumping at the hands of Subiaco.
