Swan Districts clean sweep WAWFL Grand Finals

SWAN Districts celebrated premierships in all three grades of the Mundella WA Women’s Football League on Sunday, August 20.

After victory in the Rogers Cup over South Fremantle and a Reserves win against East Fremanlte, the day culminated in back-to-back League premierships with a 29-point win over Coastal Titans.

Lead by a best-on-ground performance from AFLW-listed captain Kara Donnellan, Swan Districts 6.8 (44) defeated Coastal Titans 2.3 (15).

The Reserves Grand FInal saw Swan Districts 3.8 (26) defeat East Fremantle 2.3 (15), with best on ground awarded to Susan Chuot from Swan Districts.

Swan Districts player Mikayla Hyde was best on ground in the Rogers Cup Grand Final, leading Swan Districts to a 3.7 (25) to 2.3 (15) win against South Fremantle.
