FOLLOWING a terrific opening to the 2017 McDonald’s WAFL Premiership Season, it’s Round 2 this weekend with three games on Saturday afternoon and then the Perth derby for the Polly Farmer Shield on Sunday.

After Claremont, Swan Districts, South Fremantle and Peel Thunder made winning starts to their seasons last week, it’s now time for the second round of the season with four fascinating match ups.

It gets underway on Saturday afternoon with two games at 2.15pm with Swan Districts taking on South Fremantle at Steel Blue Oval and Peel Thunder hosting East Fremantle at Bendigo Bank Stadium.

Then at 4.15pm on Saturday, Subiaco plays Perth at Leederville Oval before on Sunday at HBF Arena, West Perth plays East Perth in a derby for the inaugural Polly Farmer Shield.

Claremont has the bye following its opening round win over East Fremantle.
