There are female football competitions for all ages and abilties in Western Australia, starting at Auskick for Pre-Primary participants through to juniors based on primary school year groups, Youth Girls for highschool aged players and senior women’s competitions.

There is also a WA Female Talent Academy that focuses on the development of female players and coaches to an elite level with an annual selection process that is coordinated through the Mundella WA Women’s Football League clubs and Junior Football Clubs.
