The 2016 AHG WAFL Finals Series kicks off this Saturday when South Fremantle host West Perth at Fremantle Oval in the Qualifying Final for a chance to meet Subiaco in the 2nd Semi-Final the following weekend.
The Elimination Final between Peel Thunder and East Perth will also be played this weekend, with bouncedown at 3.10pm on Sunday, September 4. The do-or-die clash will see the losing side eliminated while the winners will progress to the 1st Semi-Final on Sunday, September 11.
Subiaco has a bye this weekend after taking out the minor premiership to progress straight to the 2nd Semi Final. A win in that game would see the Lions progress to their third straight Grand Final with a chance to claim their sixth flag in the last decade following a three-peat from 2006-2008.
