Round 18 of the 2016 WAFL Premiership Season opened with a Thursday night game which saw the top two sides of the League competition, Subiaco and South Fremantle, battle it out at Medibank Stadium under lights.
Subiaco came out on top with a 10.9 (69) to 9.4 (58) win over South Fremantle.
The round continued on Saturday with East perth scoring its fifth straight win after the side defeated Claremont 9.6 (60) to 7.10 (52) at the Showgrounds, while East Fremantle beat Swan Districts 13.13 (91) to 11.7 (73) and Peel Thunder defeated Perth 10.12 (72) to 9.7 (61) at Cunderdin.
