English, Fisher named All-Australians

Deppro WA State 18s ruckman Tim English and midfielder Zac Fisher were named All-Australians at the conclsuion of the AFL National 18s Championships this week.

Fisher, from Perth Football Club, also won WA’s MVP award after starring in the midfield with his pace, skill and ability to push forward and finish in front of goal.

English, from South Fremantle, showcased his talent in the ruck for WA and great mobility around the ground, where he used his athleticism to make a great impact on contests and take some strong overhead marks.

The All-Australian selection panel consisted of the AFL’s Kevin Sheehan, Brenton Sanderson and Michael Ablett, as well as club recruiting managers Steve Conole (Brisbane Lions), Merv Keane (Essendon), David Walls (Fremantle) and Simon Dalrymple (Western Bulldogs).
