Eagles Senior Schoolboys Cup Winners

Two teams have completed back-to-back Grand Final victories at the Eagles Senior Schoolboys Cup.

Emmanuel Catholic College and Australind Senior High School claimed consecutive triumphs, while SEDA College also tasted success, their second Grand Final win since 2020.

All 3 schools were undefeated for the year.

Jakovich Division

In the Jakovich Division, Emmanuel Catholic College led Churchlands Senior High School by 19 points at half time before running out winners 6.5 (41) to 4.6 (30).

The Emmanuel Catholic College Coaches Award was won by Riley Stannard, while Oscar Willis was named the Churchlands Coaches Award recipient.

The Rhys Kampen Medal (presented by Blake Kampen) went to Byron Foster (Emmanuel CC)

Glendinning Division

In the Glendinning Division decider SEDA College set up their victory with a four-goal opening half, restricting Carine High School to just six behinds.

SEDA College added another four goals in the second half to close out the match 8.5 (53) to 2.9 (21) a margin of 32 points.

Walker Division

In the Walker Division Grand Final Australind Senior High School won a tight match against HT 4.1 FT 8.5 (53) def Bunbury Senior High School by 14 points 8.5 (53) to 6.3 (39).

Beau Falloon from Australind Senior High School was named Best on Ground.

Ben Cribb, School Programs & Competitions Coordinator at WA Football described the event as another outstanding success.

“The Eagles Senior Schoolboys Cup was a great event culminating in three terrific Grand Finals with three deserving winners,” Cribb said.

The Eagles Senior Schoolboys Cup is WA’s premier school competition for Year 11 and 12 boys.

The Eagles Senior Schoolboys Cup competition has schools grouped according to the WAFL district boundaries, with regional schools grouped geographically, to minimise travel until regional and district winners are finalised.

WA Football and the West Coast Eagles are proud partners of the Eagles Senior Schoolboys Cup.
