Winter has officially set in and it’s getting pretty nippy in the evenings and early mornings!

We all know that the most exciting time in the footy season is typically the coldest and it’s important that we stay active and fit just like our State’s best footballers.

Warm-up plays a crucial part in enhancing player performance and reducing the risk of injury. The intensity of the exercises should increase gradually although it is important to start with a lower option.

Over the coming months you will be guided through the correct warm-up techniques and learn the basic pre-game training methods used by our WAFL State Talent Academy.

Stay fit and strong this winter by taking part in the WAFC’s step-by-step training session with our State 18s Specialist Coaches Harry Banyard and Clinton Ernst.
