The West Australian Football Commission has secured an integrated partnership with equipment hire company Kennards that will include WAFL Broadcast properties on Channel 7 and sponsorship of the WAFL Umpires.

WAFC Chief Operating Officer Nick Sautner said this was a fantastic outcome for WA football.

“We thank Kennards for their support and look forward to working with them for the betterment of football in WA,” he said.

The partnership will also include Kennards being the preferred supplier of hire equipment to the WAFC and Patersons Stadium, ‘Kennards Trivia’ on the Channel 7 WAFL broadcast, ground signage at WAFL games and branding on WAFL Umpires uniforms.

The partnership sees Kennards join competition naming rights partner McDonald’s and supporting partners AHG, reiwa.com and TABtouch as sponsors of the 2015 McDonald’s WAFL Premiership Season.

WAFC Chief Operating Officer Nicholas Sautner thanked all of the partners for their support of the WAFL and 7 Network broadcast, which will allow the competition to remain on free to air television across the State.

A total of 18 WAFL games, plus finals, will be televised throughout WA on the 7 Network.

“It is extremely important that the WAFL competition is televised and the WAFC has worked very hard over the last two years to achieve certainty of statewide coverage going forward,” Mr Sautner said.

“This partnership will continue to provide television audiences with the opportunity to watch their favourite WAFL team in action. The coverage will not only enhance the profile of the competition, but allow additional outcomes to be delivered to the WAFL clubs and the wider community.”
