WA Women’s Football league stars Kiara Bowers (Coastal Titans) and Chelsea Randall (Swan Districts) shared the honours at the league’s annual Medal Presentation Dinner on Saturday August 3, with both players polling 24 votes in the Dhara Kerr Medal count.

Bowers and Randall have both won the award previously, Bowers in 2009 also in a tie, and Randall in 2007 in a three way tie.

The WAWFL together with the WAFC congratulates the following players on their outstanding achievements in the 2013 season:

Cath Boyce Rookie of the Year: Lara Filocamo (Claremont) and Kira Phillips (Peel Thunderbirds)

Joanne Huggins League Leading Goal Kicker: Trisha Ramsay (Coastal Titans)
Reserves Leading Goal Kicker: Charlene Headland (Swan Districts)
Reserves Fairest and Best: Ashley Sharp (Swan Districts)

Reserves Rising Star: Ashley Sharp (Swan Districts)
Lynette Smith Volunteer of the Year: Garry Burgess (South Fremantle)
