WA Football advises that West Coast Eagles player Malakai Champion has been found not guilty of serious misconduct following an incident in the Round 10 Sullivan Logistics WAFL match against Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval on Saturday, June 13.

The incident occurred during the second quarter of the match with Champion sent to the WAFL Tribunal which was held on Tuesday evening.

The WAFL Tribunal found the evidence against Champion was inconclusive.

It means the AFL-listed Eagle is free to play this weekend, whether in Round 12 of the WAFL against East Perth at Sullivan Logistics Stadium on Friday night or the following day in Round 16 of the AFL against Carlton at Marvel Stadium.

The Sullivan Logistics WAFL is back to full fixtures this weekend with all 10 teams in action, kicking off with the Royals hosting West Coast on Friday night.
