State Talent and DraftUnbeaten State 16s Boys face Vic Metro on the Gold Coast

The AAMI WA Football State 16s Boys are aiming for two wins from as many starts when they take on Vic Metro at People First Stadium on Tuesday morning.
The Black Swans play two games in four days on the Gold Coast to complete their AFL National Under-16s Championships campaign.
It was a fantastic start to WA’s tournament, knocking off South Australia in Adelaide for the first time in more than a decade.
Co-captain and East Fremantle young gun Troy Warner led the way in the 12-point victory, racking up 25 disposals, four clearances and four inside 50s.
Tall trio Nate Cass (East Perth), Jayke Taylor (East Fremantle) and Jack Holland (East Fremantle) all contributed two goals apiece.
State 16s coach Michael Glassborow is expecting a fired-up Vic Metro outfit after they dropped their last game to rivals Vic Country.
“They’re always fairly strong,” Glassborow said.
“Vic Country got them in Round 1 which was probably a surprise to everyone, so we’re probably going to play against a pretty fired-up Vic Metro.
“They’re just a class outfit, they’ve got winners all over the ground and they’re super skillful and super fit so we’re very much going to have to be at our best but we’re confident that we’ve got some things in place that we can get the job done.”
