Time change: ATCO WAFLW Grand Final

WA Football would like to advise a time change for the ATCO WAFLW and HART Sport Rogers Cup Grand Final at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Sunday, August 23.

The Rogers Cup decider will now kick off at 11.20am, instead of 9.20am, with the main event also on two hours later than originally planned from 2.05pm, with an expected 3.50pm finish time.

The updated timings will give footy fans ample time to get to the AFL clash between West Coast and Hawthorn at Optus Stadium, which starts at 5.20pm, ensuring people can enjoy both events and celebrate women’s and men’s football across the day.

It’s also well timed for AFLW fans with Fremantle’s away clash against Collingwood scheduled to finish at 12.35pm, 90 minutes before the start of the WAFLW Grand Final.

The WAFLW Grand Final will be streamed live on 7Plus, while the Rogers Cup will be on the WAFL Official YouTube Channel.

WAFLW and Rogers Cup finals start this week with two massive Sunday double-headers.

Minor premiers Swan Districts host reigning champs Claremont in a blockbuster Second Semi-Final clash at Steel Blue Oval from 11.45am, with the winner earning direct entry into the Grand Final.

It’s a do-or-die Fremantle Derby at The Good Grocer Park with East Fremantle hosting South Fremantle from 12.30pm in an exciting First Semi-Final tussle.

In the Rogers Cup, East Fremantle face Swan Districts at Steel Blue Oval from 9.30am for direct entry into the decider, while Claremont and Subiaco are fighting to stay alive in season 2026 at The Good Grocer Park from 2.45pm.
