Reigning champs South Fremantle have gone in unchanged for Sunday’s home Sullivan Logistics WAFL Elimination Final against East Perth, who have rung the changes for the do-or-die clash.

The Bulldogs are backing in the same side which defeated minor premiers Peel Thunder at Fremantle Community Bank Oval as they prepare to host last season’s grand final opponents at the same venue.

The Royals will welcome back important big man Scott Jones with a knee issue and co-captain Christian Ameduri from concussion among four changes after a tough loss to Subiaco in the final round of the home-and-away season.

Young forward Tom Graham is also back in the side alongside Jayden Peak.

Former West Coast speedster Coby Burgiel and Tom Medhat were among the unlucky ones omitted, with last week’s debutant Jacob Spasevski and Andre Gullini also squeezed out.

East Perth coach Ross McQueen resisted the temptation to debut highly-rated 17-year-old Axel Walsh, coming off three goals, 20 disposals, 23 hit-outs and six clearances in his first reserves appearance last week.

Walsh will instead play in Saturday’s reserves Qualifying Final against Perth at Revo Fitness Stadium alongside Medhat and Burgiel.

The winner of Sunday’s clash will take on the loser of Saturday’s senior Qualifying Final between Claremont and Perth next week.
