WAFL Match Review Panel update

There will be no League cases heard by the WAFL Tribunal on Tuesday, August 11 as all Match Review Panel offers were accepted.

Matthew Rogers (Perth) accepted a three (3) match sanction for rough conduct on Morgan Davies (East Fremantle) during the WAFL League game at New Choice Homes Park on Saturday, August 8.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct, high impact and high contact.

Under the table of penalties the offence was classified as a four (4) match sanction. An early guilty plea enabled the player to reduce the penalty to a three (3) match sanction.

Hayden Ballantyne (Peel Thunder) accepted a reprimand for rough conduct on Kane Mitchell (Claremont) during the WAFL League game at Revo Fitness Stadium on Saturday, August 8.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as careless conduct, low impact and high contact.

Under the table of penalties the offence was classified as a one (1) match sanction. An early guilty plea enabled the player to reduce the penalty to a reprimand.
