Peel Thunder’s Michael Johnson has accepted a one match sanction from the WAFL Match Review Panel after being cited for rough conduct on Jordan Mills, West Perth, during the first quarter of the Round 10 League match between Peel Thunder and West Perth on Saturday.
Based on the available video evidence and a victim impact report from the West Perth Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact. Under the table of penalties the offence was classified as a two (2) match sanction.
An early guilty plea enabled Johnson to reduce the penalty to a one (1) match sanction.
Matthew Parker, South Fremantle, had his report for striking Daniel Horan, Perth, dismissed.
Based on the available video evidence and a victim impact report from the Perth Football Club, the match review panel concluded that the action was not a reportable offence and the incident was dismissed.
