WA Football Commission and PILA Goal Posts, a winning partnership

The partnership between WAFC and PILA just got even better! We are thrilled to announce the extension of our long-standing AFL goalpost partnership, now with an added annual Goalpost Subsidy Program. This collaboration will give WAFC clubs and affiliates a fantastic opportunity to apply for funding towards new AFL goalposts, making sports fields and green spaces in Western Australia even better than before.

PILA, the Australian Made goalpost manufacturer, has provided Western Australia's AFL stadiums, elite venues, clubs and schools with commercial goalposts for over 20 years. With more than a decade-long partnership with WAFC, the number of sports fields and green spaces receiving new goalposts has been significant. The partnership has supported all levels, from Auskick to state and national league competitions.

Steven Rose, WAFC's Manager of Facilities and Government Relations, is excited about the launch of the Subsidy Program to support our clubs and affiliates. "This program is a game-changer for our clubs and affiliates. It will allow them to purchase high-quality, safe, compliant equipment for their fields. We're excited to continue our long-term partnership with PILA and to work with an Australian Made goalpost manufacturer."

Reece Wooldridge, Managing Director of PILA, introduced the Goalpost Subsidy Program in WA. "With so many older goalposts in poor repair, they are a dangerous liability risk for field owners and operators. Our annual Goalpost Subsidy Program will give WA clubs an affordable opportunity to upgrade their on-field sports equipment. Our local WA team is excited to continue to work with WAFC and their clubs, schools, and venues."

WAFC and PILA are making Western Australia's sporting venues better, safer, and more enjoyable for everyone!
