ALL four WAFLW Round 13 matches are fascinating in their own way but it's the grand final rematch between East Fremantle and Claremont that will give a terrific insight to how both are looking ahead of the finals.

The last month of the home and away season in the WAFLW competition gets underway with Round 13 this weekend with the four matches spread across Saturday and Sunday.

The round gets underway on Saturday morning with Peel Thunder at home to Subiaco at Lane Group Stadium. Peel is attempting to get off the bottom of the ladder while the Lions out for a third straight win to stay in the finals hunt.

Next up and it's South Fremantle hosting West Perth at Fremantle Community Bank Oval. The Bulldogs need to halt a three-game losing run while the Falcons are fresh off beating Claremont and can move closer to a top two position with the win.

The last game on Saturday is in the evening at Revo Fitness Stadium with the two teams who have played in the last two grand finals, East Fremantle and Claremont, locking horns.

They occupy the top two positions right now too with East Fremantle on a seven-game winning streak to now be a game and percentage clear with the Tigers having lost two of their past three matches.

East Fremantle midfielder Chloe Wrigley is in her first season with the Sharks having previously won two premierships with Peel Thunder, and is looking forward to the challenge against the Tigers on Saturday.

"I think for us we're just taking each week as it goes by and we know we have a big game this week against Claremont, so we're only focused on that before thinking of finals or anything else," Wrigley said.

"Claremont are always tough, they're really well balanced and work hard. They got us last time so we are just looking forward to the challenge and can't wait to come up against them. We've been working hard during training and I think we're ready for them.

"It's always nice to come up against really quality players like they have in their midfield. You always have to try and find a way to try and stop them from impacting the game, but also focus on yourself as well and having an impact as much as you can."

The round will then wrap up on Sunday afternoon at Sullivan Logistics Stadium with East Perth playing host to Swan Districts.
