The West Australian Football Commission congratulates its Deputy Chair, Dixie Marshall on her appointment to the board of the Australian Sports Commission.
Still maintaining her role within the WAFC, this appointment will see Marshall driving innovative ways to support and invest in Australian sport over the next three years.
Ms Marshall was a pioneer of women’s sports broadcasting.
Upon joining the Commission in 2021, Ms Marshall has been a fighting force across many fronts including the introduction of the new concussion safety Blue Card protocol.
This new appointment will not affect her role at the WAFC.
