The West Australian Football League has partnered with China Southern Airlines to highlight a Player of the Week throughout the 2015 McDonald’s WAFL Premiership Season.
WAFC Chief Operating Officer Nick Sautner said the China Southern WAFL Player of the Week would be announced during each round’s 7 Network broadcast game and go in the draw to win China Southern flights at the end of the year.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to promote a player who is ‘flying high’ in the WAFL competition and reward one of them with a great prize at the end of the season,” he said.
China Southern Airlines announced earlier this month that it would be extending its services to Perth with a fourth weekly direct flight.
The new schedule will commence on July 15, 2015, and two of the four direct weekly flights from Perth will move from a morning to an overnight service. This will include Tuesday and Friday flights shifting from 8.30am to 11.30pm.
Perth passengers can also reach cities such as London, Los Angeles and Paris with a one-stop journey on China Southern Airlines via Guangzhou.
