Grand Final coaches front media

The coaches and captains from Peel Thunder and Subiaco Lions fronted the media today, September 21, as part of a special WAFL Grand Final tribute event held at Domain Stadium ahead of the last ever WAFL Grand Final at the venue.

Special guest including WA Football Hall of Fame legends Barry Cable, Denis Marshall, Graham Moss, John Todd and Bill Walker attended the special tribute event which featured a WAFL memorabilia display.

Subiaco Lions coach Jarrad Schofield and captain Kyal Horsley, along with Peel Thunder coach Cam Shepherd and skipper Gerald Ugle gave an insight into their final preparations ahead of the big clash.

The Grand Final will be played on Sunday, September 24 at 2.50pm and feature a pre-game Kennards Hire WA Footy Legends Parade from 2pm, half price admission for adults, free entry for kids under 16, kick-to-kick on the ground after the game and live music and fireworks.

A souvenir edition of the WAFL Football Budget and commemorative WA State Jumpers will also be on sale.
