Green claims Jack Clarke Medal

EAST Fremantle’s Jacob Green was last night awarded the Jack Clarke Medal as the best player in the WAFL Colts competition.

Green claimed the medal with 45 votes, seven ahead of East Perth’s Thomas Shanahan on 38. They were followed by Jordan Law from Claremont on 33 votes and Green’s East Fremantle team mate, Patrick Cripps, on 31 votes.

Green, who is a strong-bodied midfielder with elite skills below the knees, racked up an average of 30 possessions a game in 2013 with a dominant display at stoppages and clearances for the Sharks.
