Subiaco have bolstered their side ahead of Sunday’s WAFLW pre-season clash against East Fremantle at Sullivan Logistics Stadium with a prized recruit to debut.
The understrength Lions went down their first pre-season hit-out against Swan Districts last week but will be much better placed this time around with the addition of former West Coast and Geelong player Annabel Johnson and fellow ex-AFLW stars Lisa Steane and Paige Sheppard.
Johnson is set to line up against her namesake and fellow WAFLW recruit Storm Johnson who’s been named across half-forward for the Sharks.
Zoe Keley, who’s starting in the ruck, is another new face for East Fremantle.
Former Collingwood gun Mikayla Hyde has been selected for her South Fremantle debut as her new team looks to make it two wins from as many starts against East Perth at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Saturday.
Recruit Hope Ugle-Hayward has been named in the midfield for the Royals.
