Round 18 of the WAFL Colts competition saw a close battle unfold at Leederville Oval which resulted in East Perth defeating South Fremantle by only one point. Peel Thunder took home a 36-point victory over Subiaco at home and West Perth beat Perth by 35 points at Lathalin Park.

The RediMed Colts Young Guns for Round 17 was Michael Rnadall from Peel Thunder who collected 86 votes, closely followed by Perth player Ian Hill.
