Round 9 of the WAFL Colts competition saw Claremont draw with Peel Thunder, East Fremantle take home a 48-point victory over East Perth, Claremont secure a 65-point win over Perth and Subiaco defeat South Fremantle by four points at Leederville Oval.

The RediMed Colts Young Gun for Round 8 was Lachlan Riley from Peel Thunder who collected 64 votes, closely followed by Swan Districts player Thomas Whittle.
