THE WAFL State 16s started the 2014 NAB AFL Under-16 Championships at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast with a thrilling win and a narrow loss in Division 1 against Victoria Metro and Victoria Country.
The WA North West team commenced in Division 3 with with a win against the Flying Boomerangs.
