SOUTH Fremantle remained unbeaten to set up a clash of the undefeated sides with Subiaco after a thrilling ANZAC Derby win over East Fremantle while West Perth, East Perth and Peel Thunder all scored impressive victories in Round 6 as well.
Over 3000 people saw a thrilling ANZAC Derby between the Sharks and Bulldogs at ATOM Stadium with South Fremantle winning 13.16 (94) to 13.9 (87) for a seventh straight victory over East Fremantle at Shark Park.
Peel Thunder finished strongly at Medibank Stadium to beat Claremont 11.17 (83) to 8.14 (62) while East Perth scored a third straight win defeating Perth 17.9 (111) to 10.7 (67) at Lathlain Park and West Perth overcame Swan Districts 13.14 (92) to 10.9 (69) at Steel Blue Oval.
The results see South Fremantle (5-0) return to the top of the ladder percentage ahead of Subiaco (5-0) with the two teams to meet on Saturday at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.
Peel Thunder (3-2) improved to third ahead of East Perth (3-3) and Claremont (2-3). East Fremantle (2-3) sit sixth followed by West Perth (2-4), Swan Districts (1-5) and Perth (1-4).
