Sharks begin search for new senior coach

East Fremantle Football Club has commenced its search for a new senior coach, with the position now being advertised to commence in 2019.

Current senior coach Rob Wiley notified the club’s Board of Directors in June that he would not be exercising his option to continue as coach of the Sharks for the 2019 season.

Wiley will continue as senior coach for the remainder of the 2018 season while the Sharks seek a replacement for 2019 and beyond.

The club is now advertising for a “highly enthusiastic, aspirational and dedicated individual who will plan, prepare, execute and review a football program, one which has a robust game plan that recognises the strengths and limitations of the senior list, leading both coaching and culture of that list to participate in the West Australian Football League competition in a competitive manner and build team success.”

Applications close on Friday, August 10, 2018.
