South Fremantle and West Perth moved further clear of the pack after the top two teams secured strong wins over the weekend in Round 19 of the WAFL.

The Lions remain on top of the ladder after they beat Swan Districts 15.18 (108) to 5.4 (34) at Medibank Stadium on Saturday, while South Fremantle outplayed East Fremantle in the classic WAFL derby 14.16 (100) to 10.10 (70).

In other games West Perth secured a solid 13.13 (91) to 6.9 (45) win over Perth at HBF Arena and Claremont won its fifth game of the season to beat Peel Thunder 17.10 (112) to 10.7 (67) at Bendigo Bank Stadium.
