East Fremantle stormed home with a thrilling 80-point victory over reigning Premiers Subiaco in Round 8 of the WAFL over the weekend.
It was dramatic change for the Lions who had not lost a game since Round 20 last year.
In other games South Fremantle made a tremendous comeback in the final quarter in its clash against Claremont, defeating the side 12.13 (85) to 12.5 (77).
West Perth won a third straight match beating Peel Thunder 8.10 (58) to 5.11 (41) while Perth claimed its second win of the 2016 season with a 41-point victory over Swan Districts.
