WAAFL Women’s race to the Grand Final

Curtin Uni Wesley and West Coast will be competing for a place in the inaugural WA Amateur Football League Women’s A Grade Grand Final when they clash in the Second Semi Final this Saturday, August 18, at Noranda’s Lightning Park.

The team who loses will take on University in the Preliminary Final on Saturday, August 25, with the winner from this clash securing their spot in the A Grade Grand Final which is being played on Saturday, September 1.


Rossmoyne and Cottesloe go head-to-head in the Grade B Second Semi-Final to secure their place in the WAAFL Women’s B Grade Grand Final.

The team who loses will take on the winner of the Nollamara v Cockburn Lakes 1st Semi Final which kicks off at 4pm.

Warnbro Swans and North Beach concluded their finals campaign after losing their respective finals matches last weekend.

4.00pm – Cockburn Lakes v Nollamara
B Grade Semi Final 2
5.30pm – Rossmoyne v Cottesloe
A Grade Semi Final 2
7.00pm – Curtin Uni Wesley v West Coast

The A Grade competition sees the top four teams through to finals and the B Grade follows a top five format.
